BLKTOPIA is a micro-series studio and platform built for the breadth of Black imagination. We release short, seasonized stories across four lanes: AFROPUNK (Afrofuturism/sci-fi), CODEBLACK (history/power/true stories), LOL (comedy), and ESSENCE (women-
forward stories).
How are BLKTOPIA shows different?
They’re fast, punchy, and built to binge—tight arcs, high rewatch value, premium look. We combine live-action and generative AI to move quickly without compromising quality.
Where can I watch?
On our app, website, and our owned social channels (AFROPUNK, CODEBLACK, LOL, ESSENCE). CTV options are coming.
Is this “for us, by us”?
Yes. We program for the full spectrum of Black culture—different tastes, tones, and tribes—not a one-size-fits-all feed.

How do I pitch a series?
Submit a one-page concept (logline, world, characters, episode beats) and a short sample to our submissions portal (coming at launch). Keep it tight and specific to one of our four lanes.
Who owns the IP?
Creators retain ownership. BLKTOPIA provides distribution, data, and marketing support under clear, creator-first terms.
How do creators make money here?
We’re building transparent, creator-controlled pathways tied to viewership and engagement, plus platform-driven marketing that helps you grow durable audience. You’ll see performance data you can act on.
Will you change my story?
We develop with you, not over you. Notes focus on clarity, pace, and audience connection—not sanding off your voice.

You can watch a lot for free. We’ll offer optional ways to support shows and unlock more— details at launch.
How often do new shows drop?
Regularly. We publish new series and seasonal additions across all four lanes—follow our channels for exact release beats.
How do I follow my favorites?
Create a profile to follow shows and verticals, save lists, and get notified when new drops land.
What if I see harassment or hate?
Report it in-app. We moderate aggressively—no slurs, doxxing, or targeted harassment. Trolls get removed; creators and community get protected.
